  5.     As you may know, Corwin Nichols wrote a very fine testing program for IBM PC
  6. compatible computers you can use to study for the FAA Private Pilot written exam.
  7. But not having ready access to an one of "those" computers, I wanted something for
  8. my Macintosh. So I wrote this stack to make use of the database that Corwin and
  9. friends prepared for his program.

  11.     This stack is freeware. It was written using HyperCard 2.1. It has been tested and works with HyperCard versions 2.1 and 2.2, however it requires a minimum application memory size of 1500 KB (Select HyperCard and choose Get Info from the File menu in the Finder--adjust as required). It also uses a card size that is too large for the compact Mac's (sorry to you folks stuck with such) but just right for PowerBooks or Duo's. The stack contains Corwin's database in its entirety.

  18.     Documentation updated to include HyperCard version 2.2 reference and requirements for 1500 KB application memory size.
  19.     Moved buttons to left side and results field to bottom so that answers are not hidden after question is answered.
  20.     Minor fixes related to stack behavior after a test is finished.
  21.     Minor additions to various dialogs so that "cancel" is always an option.
  22.     Combined functionality of "skip question" button into "next question" button.
  23.     Added support for figures, but have not actually put the figures in yet :-(, although Paul Flinn has scanned them all up for me :-).
